Today Sunday, March 25th, 2012, was a joyous day to remember.

Beginning with worship through music of praise,
We praised our Lord, and an anthem we raised.
A child was brought to our alter of love,
And her life was dedicated to our Lord above.

Following the giving of the word,
We prayed for the lost, who must still find the Lord,
Then prayers were given for so many indeed,
For those in pain, for unspoken needs.

Then, out into sunshine following the morning rain,
And on to more music, yes, music once again.
Dulcimer, fiddles, guitar and more,
Music flowed through windows and doors.

A bevy of color,  of Spring everywhere,
Accompanied me, as I traveled here and there.
Great beauty followed me all the way
With trees alive in their fine array.

Looking at the beauty while trying to drive,
It seemed like a painting had come alive,
Crocuses, daffodils, forsythia and trees,
Were exploding with color in the early spring breeze.

How can one not believe in a God,
Who has blessed us with gifts such as these?
Thank you Lord, for the beauty of Spring,
Thank you Lord, for everything.

Most of all, thank you, for being our
Heavenly Father.
